WOOZE PARTY WITHOUT YA
When it comes to British/Korean art-pop duo WOOZE, we're not afraid to stick our neck out and say that it's only a matter of time before they explode. Following up their incredibly catchy debut 'Hello Can You Go' with another eccentric pop banger 'Party Without Ya', WOOZE effortlessly combine the charismatic vocals of David Bowie with spidery fuzzed-out St Vincent-esque guitar riffs and the head-banging potential of Led Zeppelin. Whilst we realise that's high praise for a band that have just shared their second ever single, it's not just their impressive musical abilities that are making them stand out from the crowd. Once again enlisting the directive services of Seoul-based filmmaker Nuri Jeong, WOOZE continue their Korean adventures in 'Party Without Ya''s stunning accompanying visuals, which play out more like a Tarantino version of Fast and Furious than a music video. If you watch one video today, we highly recommend it to be this. -Holly Mullineaux
